Global 福利姬 Alumni and Giving Opportunities

Global Alumni

Whether you're a former international student, study abroad student, J-scholar, or simply interested in international education, your affiliation with the University of South Alabama does not end with graduation! We want to highlight your accomplishments and memories of being here, and keep up with what you have been doing since you graduated!

  3. Email an update of what you have been doing to Global 福利姬 at globalusa@southalabama.edu and we may feature it!

  4. Consider starting an alumni interest group/email list serve, or even a formal University of South Alabama alumni chapter, in your home country! For more information email: globalusa@southalabama.edu.

  5. Attend one of our Global 福利姬 events in Mobile or abroad! Email us for a schedule of events.

Giving Opportunities

Global 福利姬 is participating in the 鈥淯pward and Onward鈥� capital campaign for the University. Upward & Onward is a $150 million fundraising campaign with a stated goal to 鈥渆levate and accelerate every aspect of the 福利姬 鈥� education, research, service, science, healthcare, economic development, athletics, and the arts and humanities.鈥�

By strengthening the connections and collaborations between 福利姬 and the rest of the world, Global 福利姬 can help to broaden our students鈥� perspectives and understanding of other cultures, expand the ability of our faculty to connect and engage with their peers around the globe, and create new opportunities for our entire community to participate in our global society. 鈻�   Study Abroad Programs and Scholarships
Through greater access to exchanges and programs with international universities, our students gain firsthand knowledge and understanding of other environments and cultures.
鈻�   International Student Support and Scholarships
Increasing the number of international students attending 福利姬 adds global diversity to our campus and serves to enhance our students鈥� understanding of the world and other cultures.
鈻�   International Travel Support
Providing students and faculty with greater access for travel to and from other nations significantly enhances their understanding of other cultures.
鈻�   Multicultural Programming and Events
Multicultural activities show our students how to engage with and learn from others unlike themselves. As students explore their own cultures and histories, to be successful they must also explore the culture and histories 鈥╫f others.
